Trend Direction4

3+ consecutive same-color HA candles Critical
3+ green = uptrend. 3+ red = downtrend. No alternation. This is the core HA filter.
No / minimal lower wicks on bullish bars Critical
Strong uptrend: green bars have no lower shadow. Lower wicks = weakening momentum signal.
Candle body size expanding in trend direction
Growing bodies = increasing conviction. Shrinking = caution zone, tighten stop.
HA close above HA open (bull) / below (bear)
Confirms directional bias across the averaged price computation.
Momentum Confirmation4

RSI above 50 (bull) / below 50 (bear) Critical
RSI 50 cross validates momentum shift. Aligns with HA color change confirmation.
MACD above signal line (bull) / below (bear)
Histogram expanding in trend direction adds second layer of confirmation.
Price above 50 MA and 200 MA (bull)
MA alignment: price > 50 MA > 200 MA = bull. Reverse for bear. Don't fight the averages.
Stochastic not overbought at entry
Avoid entry at Stoch >80 (long) or <20 (short). Wait for reset. Patience over FOMO.

2nd candle in new direction, preferably larger body. Entry bar for Confirmed tier.
Doji / spinning top absent in current run
Both wicks present + small body = indecision. Stand aside until resolved.
No long upper rejection wick on signal candle
Upper wick >150% of body = stop hunt. Use wick meter to verify before entry.
No gap / price discontinuity in HA sequence
Gaps = extreme volatility event. Reduce size, widen stops, or stand aside entirely.
Structure & S/R4

Not entering at / near major resistance (long) Critical
Check daily/weekly structure. HA signal is low value at structural ceiling.
Higher highs / higher lows in place (uptrend)
Price structure agrees with HA signal. Counter-structure trades have lower win rate.
Signal candle at key S/R confluence level
Best reversals happen at known inflection points. Confluence multiplies signal quality.
Clean R:R with clearly defined stop level
Stop must be unambiguous — beyond last HA swing low (long) or high (short).
Volume Analysis3

Green HA + rising volume = institutional participation. The most reliable confirmation.
Volume declining on pullback / correction
Low volume pullback = healthy. High volume = distribution — re-evaluate.
No climactic volume spike on current run
Parabolic volume on long run = exhaustion. Trail stop aggressively, do not add.

Upper wick < 150% of body (bull). A spike-and-reverse wick is a liquidity raid by algos, not a signal.

First 15 min: algos clear overnight stops. Last 15 min: end-of-day repositioning. Both are manipulation windows.
Volume spike present ON the signal candle
Genuine reversals have volume on the actual reversal bar. Fakes reverse silently then dump.
Price NOT within 0.5% of Prior Day High / Low or VWAP
PDH, PDL, overnight high/low, and VWAP are known algo defense levels — 4th test is often a trap.
No major economic release within 30 minutes
CPI, FOMC, NFP, PPI — algos widen spreads and hunt stops pre/post release. Flat is the trade.
